Thompson to re-sign with Cavaliers for 5 years, $82M US

​The Cleveland Cavaliers and free-agent power forward Tristan Thompson have agreed in principle on a five-year, $82 million contract, ending his holdout. The team hopes to make the signing official Thursday.
