The NHL on Monday fined Winnipeg Jets centre Alex Burmistrov $4,166.67 US, the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement, for elbowing Minnesota defenceman Jared Spurgeon in the second period of Sunday night’s 5-4 win.
